What is PrEP, and how does it work?
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) involves a daily pill or bi-monthly injection that is 99% effective at preventing HIV when taken as prescribed.
What is PEP, and when should I use it?
PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) must be started within 72 hours of potential HIV exposure. It’s an emergency medication regimen that prevents the virus from taking hold.
Can I get PrEP if I don’t have insurance?
Absolutely. We’re dedicated to making prevention accessible for all. We provide guidance for both uninsured and underinsured individuals to access free or affordable PrEP services.
Is PrEP safe?
